- Queenstown Road Station: Also a short walk from the park (about 10 minutes), this station is served by South Western Railway and offers easy access from Waterloo and Clapham Junction.
-
Underground (Tube):
- Sloane Square Station (District and Circle Lines): This is the nearest tube station, about a 20-25 minute walk to the park. Alternatively, you can take a bus or taxi from here to Battersea Park.
- Battersea Power Station (Northern Line): Around a 15-minute walk from the park, this new station offers convenient access via the Northern Line.
-
Bus:
- Numerous buses serve Battersea Park. Routes 44, 137, 452, and 344 all stop near the park, with drop-off points along Queenstown Road and Chelsea Bridge Road.
2. By Car:
-
Parking:
- There are parking spaces available within Battersea Park, but they can be limited, especially on weekends or during events. We recommend arriving early to secure a spot.
- Pay-and-display parking is available at certain points inside the park and in nearby areas.
-
Congestion Charge/ULEZ:
- Battersea Park is outside the Congestion Charge zone, but please check if your route might pass through a Congestion Charge or ULEZ area when planning your journey.
3. By Bike:
- Cycle Hire:
- There are several Santander Cycle docking stations around Battersea Park if you'd prefer to use a public bike hire service.
- Cycle Parking: Battersea Park offers designated cycle parking near the main entrances, making it easy to lock up your bike while you enjoy the event.
4. On Foot:
- If you live locally, walking to Battersea Park is a great option. The park has multiple entrances, with main access points via Chelsea Bridge Gate, Albert Bridge Road, and Queenstown Road.
Baggage
We’ve got you covered with a secure baggage area, where you can safely leave your belongings. To make things easier, we recommend bringing as little as possible. Your baggage tag is conveniently attached to your race number – just tear it off and attach it to your bag. To collect your bag after the race, simply show your race number to the baggage tent staff, and they’ll assist you with finding your items.
Toilets
Battersea Park has two sets of public toilets, though they’re a short walk from the Start/Finish area, so be sure to plan ahead. If you come across a toilet on your way into the park, we recommend making a stop. Additionally, we’ll have portable toilets available within the event village for your convenience.
Refreshments
Stay hydrated! We’ll have water stations on the course at regular intervals and more water waiting for you at the finish line. Along with your well-deserved post-race goodies and medal, we’ll ensure you stay refreshed from start to finish.
During the Race
Our friendly marshals will be positioned around the course to guide and cheer you on, alongside clearly marked km signs and arrows to keep you on track. The 5K course involves two laps, while the 10K course takes you through four laps on the roads and paths within the park. Please keep in mind that Battersea Park is a shared space, so you’ll be running alongside spectators and members of the public.
Spectators
Spectators are welcome to explore the park and watch the race from various points. Since it’s a lapped course, you’ll have multiple chances to cheer on your favourite runners throughout the race.
Photos
We’ll have a professional photographer capturing all the best moments of the day. Head over to our Photos page after the event to see if you can spot yourself in action!
Important Notes
As the park will be open to the public, please be mindful of pedestrians, cyclists, and dogs sharing the paths with you. We recommend avoiding the use of earphones so you can stay alert to your surroundings and enjoy the atmosphere.
